behind Velour

Sofia Mendes has been a lash and nail artist for over five years, working in studios across Miami before opening Velour as a by-appointment private studio in 2022.

Her approach is unhurried. Every client gets the full appointment — no double-bookings, no rushing, no compromises on technique. Sofia believes the quality of a set is felt as much as it's seen.

She holds advanced certifications in volume and mega volume lash application, gel nail artistry, and lash lift. Her work has been featured in three Miami-based beauty publications.
